Justin's Take: "If I had to pick one neighborhood for a first-time Eastside buyer who works at Microsoft and has kids in elementary school, I'd say Education Hill in Redmond. You're 10–15 minutes from campus, the schools are excellent, the neighborhood has real community feel, and you're not paying the Overlake premium. That said, the right answer depends on your specific situation — which is why I offer a free consultation."

Justin's Take: Best for families where academic prestige and international programs are the top priority. Expect competitive enrollment and high-achieving peers.

Lake Washington SD

Serves: Redmond, Kirkland  |  Top 5 in WA

  • Excellent STEM programs
  • Strong choice school options
  • Redmond High, Eastlake High, Lake Washington High
  • Balanced academics and extracurriculars

Justin's Take: My personal recommendation for most Microsoft families. Excellent schools without the hyper-competitive pressure of Bellevue SD. Strong STEM alignment with the local tech community.

Northshore School District

A+

Serves: Bothell, Kenmore  |  Top 3 in WA

  • A+ rated, on strong upward trajectory
  • Inglemoor High School consistently top 10 in WA
  • Strong arts and athletics programs
  • Less competitive pressure than Bellevue SD

Justin's Take: Underrated by many relocators. Northshore is A+ rated and Bothell's home prices are $200K–$400K lower than comparable Redmond properties. Strong value proposition for families.

Issaquah School District

Serves: Sammamish, Issaquah  |  Top 10 in WA

  • Excellent academics, newer facilities
  • Skyline, Issaquah, Liberty High Schools
  • Strong community involvement
  • Newer school buildings (Sammamish growth)

Justin's Take: A solid choice for Sammamish families. The district has benefited from Sammamish's rapid growth with newer school facilities. Academic outcomes are strong across the board.
